Prior's Welcome

Fr. Bernard McCoy, O.Cist.

Greetings and peace.

I extend a most gracious welcome to you.  We are a community of men seeking God together—modern monks following an ancient tradition.  Our abbey is home to a small community of contemplative Roman Catholic monks in the hills of southwestern Wisconsin. We belong to the ancient Cistercian Order, founded in 1098, and follow the Rule of St. Benedict.
